The Position The Manager Content Department is head of the Content Department. And is responsible for the quality, accuracy and completeness of the Product and Category related content on the websites of Compare Group. The Content department operates on International level. Each of the local organizations utilizes resources and knowledge of the Content department for their local website(s). You’ll lead of team of Language specialists, Products specialists and Data & Systems specialists. Your home base is the head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands (next-door to the Central Station). Responsibilities and Tasks • Responsible for improving the quality and completeness of the product content of the sites; • Responsible for staffing the content department in order to meet local content requirements; • Responsible for the productivity of the content department; • Source of content knowledge for internal use (commercial and IT department) and external use (webshops and vendors); • Responsible for complaint and information handling; • Keeping the site up-to-date with market developments; • Responsible for continuous improvement of content production on the websites; • Responsible for maintaining and optimizing contacts with pan-European and local content providers and manufacturers. Education / Experience • Bachelor or Master degree; • At least two years of management experience; • Skilled in internet (retail) environment, preferably consumer products; • Experience with data in multilingual environments; • Fluent in English. Skilled in other European languages is very much appreciated.
