VERGELIJK.NL is in business since March 25 2000 and is one of the market leaders in the Netherlands today. Followed swiftly by VERTAA.FI, also begun in 2000, and based in Finland.
In 2002, with practically immediate success, VERGELIJK.BE was set up in Belgium.
In 2006 Compare Group was founded to facilitate the continuing success of the multiple price comparison sites. Compare Group also welcomed the addition of the incredibly popular site Elcheapo.nl, online since 1999.
