Jeroen Korving

Jeroen Korving is 34 years old, married, and the father of two little boys (Stijn and Pim).

Jeroen studied at the University of Maastricht and at Carlos III de Madrid. His career started at a bank, the NIBC. After a few years he became attracted to a new phenomenon, the Internet. He started working for a well-known web agency, Clockwork, located in Amsterdam. After that he was asked to set-up the ‘Randstad’ branch of another large web agency, TheFactor.e, at that time only located in Groningen. When that was running successfully he began looking for the next challenge, which ended up being Vergelijk.nl.

Jeroen: “I joined Vergelijk.nl in 2005, when we were still located in the heart of Utrecht, along the canals. At that time it was still a real ‘start-up’ company, with all the good and bad things associated with that phase. Together with the other MT members I started professionalizing the company, as we had (and still have) international ambitions. Currently I work as the Business Development Manager for the Compare Group. In short, I am responsible for the overall strategy, the international expansion, partnering, and new business. So, I am focusing on the future (important but non-urgent activities), whereas the rest of the company is focusing on today.”

Jeroen has a passion for the Internet and exploring new possibilities. “I really like to connect people and to create value, and I will always be for long relationships. Within our company we have a ‘bible’, which is ‘Good to Great’. This book embodies the passion we have for further growth and the fact that we are never satisfied with our achievements. We simply want to do better. In personal life I really love my little family, I enjoy skiing, golf, travelling (I was really struck by Africa and its wildlife) and soccer.”
